According to the newspaper 'AS', Liverpool are already working on the expansion of Anfield, as a result of the large influx of people who attend every game of the Champions League Semi-Finals.
In this sense, the media maintains that the stadium will end up reaching 60,000 seats, ranking fifth in the largest stadiums in the Premier League.
Old Trafford is currently at the top with 74,879, followed by Tottenham's new stadium (62,000), Arsenal's Emirates (60,260) and West Ham's Olympic Stadium (60,000).
Built in 1884, Anfield was shared with Everton until 1892, when a rental dispute left Liverpool as the sole tenant.
