West Ham were not willing to throw in the towel against Arsenal. Despite Arsenal's perfect start to the game, a Gabriel Magalhaes penalty on Paqueta allowed Benrahma to pull one back from the spot.

West Ham made a poor start to the game after Arsenal went 2-0 up after just 10 minutes with goals from Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus respectively.

However, David Moyes' team always fight to come from behind and even more so at the London Stadium. Thanks to this attitude, the Hammers managed to pull one back before the break with a goal from Benrahma in the 33rd minute.

Gabriel Magalhaes came flying in on Paqueta and the West Ham man went down way too easily. The referee blew straight away and after a VAR review the penalty was given to the Hammers. Benrahma made no mistake from the spot, sending Ramsdale the wrong way. Professional job from the spot-kick.

In doing so, the winger scored his fourth goal this season for the London Stadium side. In addition, the Algerian has also provided three assists so far this term.
