The Italian team, which always exploits the design of its kits to the maximum, has not yet reached an agreement with any brand and, after the break-up with Kappa, has had to improvise temporary jerseys while it finalises the contract with its new sports sponsor.
After being promoted in the play offs in June, Venezia have already started pre-season training with the aim of trying to stay in Serie A on their return to the top flight. The team from the city of canals, which broke with Kappa after a period in which the Italian company was involved in the design of the kits, is waiting to close a deal with a new sports brand that maintains the quality line established in recent times by the team.
While Venezia find the right sports sponsor, in their first frindly against Real Vicenza, the team coached by Eusebio di Francesco had to wear unbranded kits made by the club itself for the occasion. In the images released by the club, it can be seen that the team wore a black technical shirt with the crest on the chest and three stripes at the end of the sleeve with the main colours of the team: orange, black and green.
The new Serie A team, who won the aforementioned friendly 7-0 against the modest side, have also been training these days in basic sportswear to which Venezia have only added the crest. In keeping with the high quality and exclusivity they have been offering their fans in recent seasons, it is rumoured that Venezia could reach an agreement with Nocta, Nike's collaboration with singer Drake, for the coming seasons.
In a football world where timing is so measured and equipment is of such high importance, it is surprising that top-level clubs like this one find themselves in a situation like this, preparing for the new season with materials that may not be as optimal as one would expect from a Serie A team.
