Bournemouth have announced the signing of 33-year-old goalkeeper Neto, who has committed to the English club for the 2022-23 season. The experienced Brazilian goalkeeper arrives on a free transfer after ending his time at Barcelona, despite having one year left on his contract at the club.
Neto has a new team. The former Barcelona goalkeeper has become the latest big signing for AFC Bournemouth, who have now made four new signings this summer after Joe Rothwell, Ryan Fredericks and Marcus Tavernier.
Despite the experienced Brazilian goalkeeper having one more year left on his contract with Barça (until 2023), his transfer to the English club has been completed on a free transfer, as the Premier League club have reported on their official website.
