Eduardo Camavinga spoke in the press room during the France training camp. And the midfielder had a little ‘tense’ moment with a journalist when he was asked about his level with the national team.
"I haven't had any big games for France in midfield, since when? I've been terrible for a year? I'm not frustrated. If I'm here, it's because I have qualities in midfield. If you haven't seen it, it's you...", replied the midfielder.
"There is a lot of competition and you have to accept that. I've played some good games in midfield for the French national team. I'm still 21 years old. I have a lot to learn and I'm not finished yet. My concentration, my right foot... I need to be more decisive in both areas," he reflected.
Furthermore, Eduardo Camavinga expressed the desire he would have had for the Olympic Games in Paris: "It would have been an honour, but it's not possible. We have to accept Real Madrid's choice and move on".
Finally, he spoke about his new team-mate Kylian Mbappe's adaptation to the club: "People don't necessarily see his qualities as a passer. I don't know what Ancelotti thinks, but he will make the right decisions to field everyone. We'll see next season."
