According to 'The Guardian', the Gunners are preparing an improved third bid to convince West Ham to sign Declan Rice in the next transfer window. The Hammers rejected Manchester City's opening bid.

Manchester City made an opening bid for the 24-year-old but West Ham have turned it down. As a result, they will have to improve their offer.

But Arsenal will try to meddle with their plans. The Gunners are preparing an improved third bid for Declan Rice after having two offers rejected, according to 'The Guardian'.

Both clubs will have to offer £100 million if they want to secure his services. The Sky Blues want the Englishman to take Ilkay Gundogan's place as the German has joined Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta's side have had their eye on the midfielder for some time. They believe Rice could play a key role in the midfield at the Emirates Stadium.

West Ham are reluctant to let their skipper leave for less than the stated figure. Both Arsenal and City will fight to the bitter end to sign the England international.
