Chelsea vs Olympique Lyonnais live
End of match
-
90'That's the end of the game. It wasn't the most exciting affair you'll ever see, but Chelsea and Lyon will be just happy that their players have got minutes in the legs before their league campaigns begin. The odd moment from Lyon suggest that they'll do well in attack, while Willian was the most promising player for Chelsea, even if that isn't saying a lot. A good night for Rob Green too, as he is the hero (as much as you can be in a friendly) in saving the decisive penalty at the end.
-
90 'Eden Hazard strokes home the winning penalty.
-
90'He finally gets it! Another penalty to his left, but this time Green saves it.
-
90 'Azpilicueta with a wonderful penalty high to the keeper's right.
-
90 'Yet another to the left of Green. Another Lyon penalty converted.
-
90 'Marcos Alonso hits it in off the post.
-
90 'All three Lyon penalties have gone in the top right corner. Rob Green can't seem to take a hint.
-
90 'Ross Barkley with a Panenka to score for the Blues.
-
90 'Marcelo converts the second one for Lyon in to the top right corner.
-
90 'Jorginho steps up for this one and calmly sends the keeper the wrong way.
-
90 'The first effort from Lyon is converted well by Ferri.
-
90'That's the end of the 90. The second half offered very few clear-cut chances for either side, and even when chances did come they were not finished well. The flow of the game was admittedly not helped by almost the entirety of both teams being switched in that period.
-
90'2 minutes added on.
-
89'Counter-attack for Chelsea which is crowned by a wonderful flick from Hazard, but the ball can't find its way in to the box from a Piazon cross.
-
87'No better chances for either team to take the lead, as play is broken up whenever a team has the ball. Doesn't look like a goal will come any time soon.
-
83'Both teams are just going through the motions now, after a lot of changes in this second half.
-
73 'Oh, and don't forget the keeper! Rob Green makes his first appearance for Chelsea as Bulka makes way. What's the betting this is Green's only appearance in a Chelsea shirt?
-
72 'Yet more substitutions! This time it's the back four's turn to change for the home side. Zappacosta, Christensen, Ampadu and Emerson leave to be replaced by Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Cahill and Alonso.
-
69'Yes, that is how bad the second half has been. A substitution is the most exciting thing to have happened all half, apart from Loftus-Cheek's effort that is.

-
68 'The main man is on! Eden Hazard comes on to the pitch, along side Giroud and Piazon. Willian, Moses and Abraham are taken off.
-
65 'Ndombele, Mariano and Dubois make way for Terrier, Rafael and Cheikh as the French side make their first changes.
-
63'N'Golo Kante of all people is through on goal, but his attempt to slip the ball past Lopes doesn't work and it goes out for a corner off the goalkeeper.
-
58 'Danny Drinkwater, Loftus-Cheek and Bakayoko come off. Jorginho, Barkley and World Cup winner Kante are on.
-
56'Good work down the right from Chelsea and a cross comes in from Zappacosta, but Abraham's header goes wide of Lopes's post.
-
55'IT HITS THE POST! The best chance of the game so far for Chelsea comes from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who runs in to the Lyon box with purpose and looks to dink the keeper, with the ball hitting the post.
-
49'Good movement again from Willian, as he porduces a burst of pace to get past the full-back and get a ball in to the box. No Chelsea players there to get on the end of it.
-
45'Second half begins. No changes yet for either side.
-
45'The save was the last action of the first half. Willian showed some glimpses of inspiration but Sarri will defnitely not be too happy with his team's performance. There will undoubtedly be changes in the second 45 from both teams, but Lyon will definitely take more confidence from their efforts.
-
44'Spectacular save from Lopes as Willian bends the ball over the wall, but the keeper is able to athletically get across and turn it round the corner.
-
43'Tammy Abraham is brought down on the edge of the Lyon box. Willian and Emerson over it.
-
36'Depay goes down in the Chelsea box, but the referee thinks it's too soft and waves play on.
-
29'Better build up from the Blues, with a cross coming in from Emerson that Abraham can't quite direct towards goal.
-
26'Great build up play from the French outfit, and Depay comes in from the left to bend a shot across the goal that is well saved by Bulka, even if it was at a nice height.
-
24'Drinkwater tries a shot from range, and despite initially spilling it Dubois recovers the ball.
-
23'Willian tries a driving run in to the Lyon half but is denied before he reaches the box. Sums up Chelsea so far.
-
18'The Chelsea boss doesn't look to happy and you can understand why. His attacking and possession-focused style of play is clear to see on the pitch- but only from Lyon.

-
16'Lyon are definitely enjoying the better of possession as the first half goes on. Can they confirm their dominance with a goal?
-
7'A vicious strike from Mendy, but it goes just past the Chelsea post.
-
5'Lyon have a chance from a corner, but the header can't be kept down, At the other end of the pitch Loftus-Cheek can't steer the ball home after nice inter-play with Willian.
-
3'The game is even so far, with both teams keeping possession well once they have it.
-
1'The game is now underway!

PRVWHello and welcome to Chelsea's final match in the International Champions Cup as they take on Lyon at Stamford Bridge. The Blues faced a disappointing defeat in their last match against Man City on Sunday in the FA Community Shield, and will be hoping to get a win before their Premier League campaign begins. Meanwhile Lyon's main concern is keeping hold of Nabil Fekir who is not in the squad this evening.
